Camellia Institute of Engineering and Technology (CIET), Burdwan was established in 2010 by the Kalyan Educational Society. The vision of CIET, Burdwan is to seamlessly integrate valued traditions with modern outlooks. CIET, Burdwan is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), and West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCTVE&SD).
Students can pursue 5 undergraduate (UG) and 5 diploma (DIP) courses at the CIET, Burdwan. The undergraduate courses on offer are B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electronics and Communications Engineering; while the diploma courses are Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. Candidates need to qualify their 10th-grade examination and obtain a valid JEXPO rank for admission to the diploma courses, and 10+2 examination along with a valid WBJEE or JEE Main rank in the case of B.Tech courses.

Placement support is provided by the students by the Training and Placement Cell of the CIET, Burdwan which invites companies such as Cognizant, Dabur, Godrej, Exide, Emami, Dell, Amul, Coca-Cola, Accenture, Cadbury, Asian Paints, Airtel, HCL, HDFC Bank, Britannia, and many more for recruitment, and PWD, SBSTC, Easter Railway, KMDA, DVC, etc. for industry-internship.
CIET, Burdwan spreads over an area of 10 acres and provides all necessary infrastructure to the students for their holistic development.
CIET, Burdwan has a well-stocked Library and hostel facilities for the students to avail. Recognising the importance of a healthy lifestyle for young scholars, CIET, Burdwan has provisions for various sporting activities. There are course-specific laboratories equipped with modern technology on the Campus along with classrooms to aid the students to gain both theoretical and practical knowledge. The seminar halls in the Institute is utilised for hosting various cultural, academic and social events. The entire Campus of CIET, Burdwan is Wi-Fi enabled via 35 MBPS 1:1 leased line connection as well as a wired LAN connection through CISCO Catalyst.
