Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata (CIEMK), is a private self-financing engineering and management institute in Tollygunge, Kolkata. CIEM Kolkata was instituted in 2003 and is affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal.
Both undergraduate and postgraduate courses are offered by CIEM Kolkata. Undergraduate degrees include B.Tech in five specialisations (CSE, IT, CE, EE, and ECE), BBA, BBA (Business Analytics), BSc (Data Science), BCA, and Bachelor in Medical Lab Technology. Candidates wishing to pursue B Tech from the Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata must meet the eligibility criteria of passing their 10+2 examinations in the relevant stream from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks. Candidates are admitted into B.Tech programmes based on the scores and ranks they have secured in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE). Admission into BBA and BCA programmes will be conducted based on the candidate’s academic merit in their class 12 board examinations. Admission Procedure
Candidates who are willing to pursue the B.Tech program from the Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata (CIEMK), must have completed Class 12 or the equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics combinations and an overall average of at least 45%. Based on WBJEE score, applicants will be admitted to the B.Tech program. To study for BCA at the institution, applicants must have completed Class 12 or an equivalent exam with Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Application, or Statistics as one of the core subjects from a recognized board. For consideration of admission to the BBA (Hons) program, students must have completed Class 12 or the equivalent from a recognized board with English as one of the courses. Marks secured in the Class 12 test will be used to determine admission to the BCA and BBA (Hons) programs.
CIEM, Kolkata provides Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree with various specialization with various specialization. Students can apply this course through online, he/she must have a bachelor's degree in relevant stream or any other discipline with required marks from a recognised university.
