CAHC Melvisharam strives for academic excellence through a holistic approach and aims to provide world-class teaching in higher education and research. Recognised by UGC and affiliated with Thiruvalluvar University, CAHC Melvisharam is dedicated to uplifting the rural community. CAHC Melvisharam offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, BA, and MPhil.

CAHC Melvisharam campus spans over 20.92 acres and is well-equipped with modern facilities that support teaching and learning. The classrooms are ICT-enabled and the laboratories are equipped with the latest technological facilities necessary for practical learning. CAHC Melvisharam Animal Health Laboratory boasts the prestigious recognition of being the only OiE reference laboratory in the nation. In addition, CAHC Melvisharam has several halls including the auditorium, seminar hall, mini-seminar hall and conference hall. All these halls are fitted with computers, LCD projectors and audio systems to facilitate meetings, seminars, workshops and conferences. Furthermore, CAHC Melvisharam has a multimedia room, 45 LCD projectors, a digital library, 2 smart boards and 4 LCD TVs. These state-of-the-art facilities make it possible for video conferencing and lecturing. To encourage students to participate in sports, games, gymnastics and cultural activities, CAHC Melvisharam has a host of facilities. These include a cricket pitch, net practice, handball court, football court, basketball court, indoor shuttle, indoor carrom, indoor chess, gym centre, footrace tracks, and weight-lifting room. For students who require accommodation, CAHC Melvisharam provides a hostel and a mess.

Admission Procedure
C.Abdul Hakeem College, Melvisharam conducts an admission procedure for the students through an Admission Committee for applying to any undergraduate or postgraduate. The students are required to fill up the application form while following the guidelines of the institute.
CAHC Melvisharam offers undergraduate degrees like BA in English, BBA, B.Com general and with Computer Application, BCA, B.Sc in Chemistry and Computer Science applying to which the students are required to have qualifying marks in their 10+2 examination from a recognized board.
Postgraduate degree like M.Phil in Mathematics and Commerce are provided to the students applying to which they are required to have a master's degree from a recognized university with qualifying marks.
