Established in 1963 by Sri. B.S. Narayan, Donor Trustee of BMSET, under the auspices of B.M. Sreenivasaiah Educational Trust, BMS College of Law, Bangalore (BMSCL Bangalore) is named after the visionary Dharmaprakasha Rajakaryaprasaktha Sri. B.M. Sreenivasaiah, who pioneered the first private engineering college in Karnataka. BMSCL Bangalore is affiliated with Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi (KSLU), and is approved by BCI and UGC, offering B.A. LL.B., B.Com. LL.B. (5-year degree course), and L.L.B. (3-year degree course). Noted for imparting quality legal education, BMSCL Bangalore is anchored by a strong foundation and infrastructure, supported by a dedicated and highly qualified faculty committed to providing a world-class learning experience.

The Faculty of BMSCL Bangalore is a dedicated and highly trained team of professionals, devoted to providing students with the highest quality of education. With a range of qualifications and expertise, the faculty is dedicated to creating an engaging learning environment and to helping students reach their full potential.

The infrastructure of BMSCL Bangalore is designed to cater to the needs of all students, and it is well-equipped with many facilities. BMSCL Bangalore boasts 21 spacious, well-equipped, and well-ventilated classrooms, each with comfortable seating arrangements. In addition to classrooms, BMSCL Bangalore has a well-equipped Moot Court Hall with a seating capacity for 60 students, and a computer lab providing the students with the necessary IT infrastructure to carry on their research work effectively. BMSCL Bangalore also has a spacious Seminar Hall with a seating capacity for 200 people. This hall is used for conducting international and national conferences, seminars, workshops, cultural events, induction programmes and other larger-scale events. The B.S Narayan Memorial Library and Information Center was established in the year 1963 and built up in 4962 sq.ft area with ample space for storage of books and 250 seating capacity for reading. The library has four sections namely; Periodicals, Reference section, Book stack and Circulation section. The library has a collection of 23063 voluminous Law Books, Indian and International Law Journals. Additionally, online databases like Manupatra, SCC Online, Lexis Advance, EBC Reader, and CDJ Law Journal are also available. The Open Access system enables users to choose their own reading material for reference and circulation. The library also subscribes to many national and international journals, reports, newspapers, and magazines. BMSCL Bangalore has ample infrastructure facilities for both outdoor and indoor events such as Athletic events, Football, Cricket, Handball, Netball, Throwball, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Badminton, Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess, and well-equipped Multi Gym Facilities. BMSCL Bangalore also has adequate facilities for conducting yoga classes for the well-being of students . BMSCL Bangalore provides accommodation facilities for both boys and girls, and the students have access to a cafeteria and first aid equipment.

Admission Procedure

BMS College of Law, Bangalore offers LLB, BA LLB, and BCom LLB degrees. BMSCL Bangalore  follows an online admission procedure and the form can be obtained from the college's website.

For UG admission, candidates must pass HSC(10+2) from any board. for final admission will be done on the basis of BMS Common Law Admission Test (BMSCLAT) score.
