The central library of BLDE, Vijayapura comprises 19220 Books, 170 Medical Journals, 6521 e-Journal, and 8366 Back-dated Volumes, Audio/Video Cassettes, and CDs. Apart from the central library, there are departmental libraries that are also well-resourced. The library is facilitated with spacious reading rooms, projector screens, in-house reprography, bibliography, and photocopying on CDs and pen drives. A modern digital library with access to 200 full-text journals and the Internet via a leased line.
BLDE, Vijayapura provides top-notch facilities when it comes to laboratories. Subject-specific laboratories are provided that are skills laboratory, genetics laboratory, central research laboratory, and laboratory for vascular physiology and medicine. Apart from these, there are two Excellence centers for Dermatology and SDH. A Central Animal House is also provided.
