BITS Law School, Mumbai is the newest member of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science family. Established in 2023, BITS Law School aims to set a transformative standard in multidisciplinary legal education and research in India, driven by creativity and empathy. The school is dedicated to offering legal knowledge and practical training, fostering holistic education to nurture leaders passionate about fostering a more equitable, just, and inclusive society. By 2025, the school plans to be situated in a zero-carbon footprint campus spanning 60 acres in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

BITS Law School is recognized and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The institute offers two Integrated five-year Undergraduate programs – B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), with specializations in Technology and Media Law, Alternate Dispute Resolution and Mediation, Corporate and Financial Law, and Entertainment and Sports Law. Interested candidates can apply through their online website. To be eligible for these programs, candidates must meet the basic admission criteria. The admission process at BITS Law School, Mumbai is conducted under the guidelines of the Bar Council of India.

Admission Procedure

BITS Law School, Mumbai offers two Integrated five-year undergraduate programs - B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), with different specializations. Candidates are required to have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) with a minimum of 45% marks overall from a recognized board or equivalent. Additionally, candidates must have a valid entrance test score from one of the following – BITS Law Admissions Test/ Common Law Aptitude Test (CLAT)/ Law School Admission Test India (LSAT-India)/ All India Law Entrance Test (AILET)/ Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (MHCET Law). Interested candidates have to apply and submit their applications through the online website. Before the final admission, the shortlisted candidates are called in for a personal interview(online).
