Admission Procedure

Birla Institute of Technology, Patna offers four years undergraduate degree ( B.Tech, B. Arch) and a two-year post-graduate degree ( M. Tech, MBA) with various specializations. Interested candidates can apply through their official website. To apply for their UG and PG degrees candidates must qualify basic admission criteria. BIT Patna conducts admission as per the guideline of AICTE. For their B.Tech / B. Arch degree candidate must qualify for an entrance examination Joint Entrance Examination-Main (JEE-MAIN) through CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) / JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). For their MBA, M.Tech degree candidates must qualify GATE entrance examination for M.Tech and CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT entrance examination for the MBA degree. Final admission is based on merit basis.

BIT Patna also offers Ph.D. degrees with various specalization, to apply for their degree candidate must qualify for an entrance examination UGC/CSIR-NET/NET with valid marks.
