Admission Procedure
Birla Institute of Technology, Kolkata offers three-year Undergraduate programmes lik BBA and BCA and two-year post-graduate programmes like M. Tech, M.E, and MCA degrees with various specializations. Interested candidates can apply through the official website. BIT Kolkata conducts admission as per the AICTE guidelines where the candidates are required to qualify for an entrance examination GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test of Engineering) to apply in M.Tech and M.E degrees.
BIT Kolkata also offers integrated programmes like the M.Sc, MBA, and MCA appltying to which, the candidates are required to qualify in Joint Entrance Examination- Main (JEE-Main) through CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority), Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM)/ Common University Entrance Test (CUET) with valid marks. Final admission is based on the personal interview and the merit scored by the individuals.
