Birla Institute of Liberal Arts and Management Sciences (BILAMS), Kolkata is an autonomous education society situated in Kolkata. BILAMS Kolkata was set up in the year 1987 and has always been focused on preparing their students for the industry.

BILAMS Kolkata currently offers a range of short term courses, Fashion and Interior Designing, Mass Communication, Public Relations & Advertising Management courses in addition to beginner level classes for German and French. However, at the undergraduate level they run 3 courses. These are the 3 year Bachelor of Fashion Studies, 3 year Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis and the 3 year Bachelor of Mass Communication.

BILAMS Kolkata is affiliated to the Birla Institute of Technology and Science. They are recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Their courses are also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). All courses at BILAMS Kolkata have a strong industry focus, incorporating internships and other industry facing activities. The mode of education is tailored to build lifelong learners committed to inward and outward growth throughout their careers and lives.

Students of BILAMS Kolkata have access to a library that also stocks industrial publications, a fully furnished computer lab and smart classrooms and an auditorium, all located on a Wi-Fi enabled campus.
