Bir Bikram Memorial College, Agartala (BBMC Agartala) is a government institution that began operations on August 19th, 1969 as Bir Bikram Evening College. BBMC Agartala was located on the premises of Maharaja Bir Bikram College and had more than 300 male students. BBMC Agartala was affiliated with Calcutta University and aimed to provide education to students who were unable to attend regular day colleges due to various reasons. On December 26th, 2002, BBMC Agartala moved to College Tilla, where the former Tripura University building was situated. BBMC Agartala was then renamed its present name and became affiliated with Tripura University. BBMC Agartala is approved by the UGC and continues to provide quality education to students.
BBMC Agartala offers BA, BA(H), BSc(H), BSc, and BCom degrees. BBMC Agartala follows an online admission procedure and the form can be obtained from the college's website. For UG admission, candidates must pass HSC(10+2) from any board.
