Bidhan Chandra College Rishra, Hooghly (BCCR Hooghly), situated in the industrial belt of the Serampore Sub-Division in Hooghly District, West Bengal, is affiliated with the University of Calcutta. Established in 1957 in honour of Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy, BCCR Hooghly owes its existence to the Birkmyre Education Trust and the efforts of individuals such as the Late Shribhusan Bose, Late Pannalal Mukherjee, Late Principal Kanai Lal Ganguly, and other well-wishers. BCCR Hooghly's mission is to foster a sense of harmony and integration among students from diverse backgrounds, promoting a collective ethos that reflects the values of our nation.

BCCR Hooghly offers only undergraduate programs. BCCR Hooghly follows an online admission procedure and the form can be obtained from the college's website. For UG admission, candidates must pass HSC(10+2) from any board.
