Bharathidasan Government College for Women (BGCW), Puducherry was established in 1968, as the first autonomous College in Puducherry. Affiliated to the Pondicherry University and recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), BGCW Puducherry offers 14 undergraduate (UG) and 1 doctorate (PhD) courses for students to pursue.
The UG courses are for the degrees of Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com); while PhD can be pursued in the field of Home Science. Applications for admission to BGCW Puducherry can be submitted online via their official website.
