BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore (BGSGIMS Bangalore) is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and was founded with the aim of providing high-quality medical education and producing dedicated healthcare professionals to serve society. Established in 2012 under the divine guidance of Padmabhushan Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji, BGSGIMS Bangalore is located in Bangalore, the Garden City, and has since become one of the city's leading colleges with a hospital. BGSGIMS Bangalore's state-of-the-art classrooms and ultra-modern laboratories provide a conducive environment for students to excel in their studies. BGSGIMS Bangalore has several well-equipped spacious seminar halls, including those at the department level. These halls are used to conduct seminars, expert lectures, and viva-voce, and they provide the perfect platform for students and faculty to exchange ideas. In addition, BGSGIMS Bangalore has a mini auditorium with a capacity of 500 to 600 members. BGSGIMS Bangalore has a separate Internet Laboratory (Browsing center) that houses about 20 computers, all with dedicated leased line connectivity of 200 Mbps. The BGSGIMS Bangalore Central Library, established in 2012-13, has a vast collection of over 14,500 medical books, 1,000 CDs/DVDs, and subscriptions to 143 periodicals yearly on various medical subjects. The library is a member of the Health Science Library And Information Network (HELINET) Consortium of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. This membership provides students with access to a vast collection of academic journals, e-books, and dissertations. BGSGIMS Bangalore also provides excellent facilities for outdoor and indoor games like basketball, volleyball, handball, kho-kho, kabaddi, throw ball courts, tennis ball cricket ground, badminton, table tennis, chess, weight lifting, powerlifting, wrestling, gymnastics, carrom, fitness center, and yoga. BGSGIMS Bangalore provides hostels for students, a 710-bedded hospital for emergencies, and a Canara Bank with an ATM facility, buses, and canteen facilities. This comprehensive infrastructure ensures that students can focus on their studies and enjoy a comfortable and fulfilling learning experience.

For MBBS admission, candidates must pass HSC(10+2) from any board. And for MS/MD admission, candidates must complete a MBBS degree. The final admission at BGSGIMS Bangalore will be done on the basis of National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) score.
