Admission Procedure
Admission to the Ballari Institute of Technology and Management, Bellary is done online mode. The eligibility criteria of the students are based on the marks they received in various exams including Joint Entrance Exam- Main (JEE-Main), Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K), Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT), Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), Common Admission Test (CAT), and Management Aptitude Test (MAT) entrance exam across UG & PG courses. The selection procedure is conducted based on counselling and personal interviews. Candidates for B.E. should have completed the 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, and any other optional subject with English as one of the languages of study, and should have received a minimum of 45% marks.
To apply for the MBA Course should have passed the Bachelor's degree with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate. Students who want to pursue an MBA must take the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) entrance exam. 50% of the seats in PGCET are counselled for admission, and the remaining 50% will be filled by the institute for students who took the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (K-MAT) / Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) /Management Aptitude Test (MAT)/ Common Admission Test (CAT) Entrance Test and passed.
The candidate after getting allotment of the seat through the Common Entrance Test (CET)/ Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K)/ Management.
