Balasore College of Engineering and Technology (BCET) was established in 2001 in Balasore Odisha. BCET has All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) accreditation. It has been recognised by the Odisha government and is currently affiliated with Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (BPUT). BCET gained recognition as an ostensible institute in India with ISO 9001: 2008 certification.
Balasore College of Engineering and Technology has a well-functioning placement cell that embodies student representatives, placement faculty coordinators, and a placement officer. The placement cell builds effective bonds with leaders in the industry to land their students adequate positions post-completion of their degrees. BCET’s library has built-in digital facilities that encourage e-learning. They have accommodation facilities for both boys and girls separately. BCET offers financial assistance to students that need it to pursue their education there. Additionally, they have scholarship opportunities available for students doing well in university exams. Furthermore, BCET has its own buses that operate for transporting the university staff and students.

Admission Procedure
The students are required to qualify for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) for taking admission to the B.Tech courses at the Balasore College of Engineering and Technology. The students are required to have Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects in their higher secondary. The admission is merit-based. BCET is a co-ed institution.
BCET Balasore also offers postgraduate M.Tech / MBA/ MCA programmes with various specializations. Interested candidates can apply through their official website, To apply for their degree candidates must fulfill basic admission criteria. For their postgraduate degree candidate must qualify for an entrance examination Odisha Joint Entrance Examination with valid marks.
