Established in 1993 and supported by the Shriomani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee of Sri Amritsar, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib (BBSBEC Fatehgarh Sahib) was approved by the Government of Punjab. BBSBEC Fatehgarh Sahib was dedicated to Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, a great saint and warrior who defeated the Mughal Empire by conquering the Sirhind fort. This project was the dream of Panth Ratan Jathedar Gurcharan Singh Tohra, former President of SGPC, and BBSBEC Fatehgarh Sahib is now recognized by the A.I.C.T.E, New Delhi, Ministry of H.R.D, GOI, and is affiliated with I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.

Admission Procedure

All the B.Tech programs admission will be based on the scores obatined in HSC(10+2) and JEE-Main (Joint Entrance Examination - Main). Other UG programs admissions will be based on the scores obtained in HSC(10+2). Candidates interested in applying for the M.Tech programs must have a Bachelor of Technology or equivalent degree in the relevant engineering/technology discipline. The final admission will be based on the score obtained in GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). For admission to the MBA programs, candidates need to have a Bachelor's or equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute.
