A.V. College of Arts Science and Commerce, Hyderabad has a first-class infrastructure for teaching, learning and research. AVCASC Hyderabad is centrally located in the heart of Hyderabad, with Hussain Sagar Lake and the A.P. Government Secretariat in its vicinity. It has a sprawling campus of 7.33 acres with a built-up area of 1,28,937sq.ft with beautifully landscaped gardens and a green belt. It is home to numerous departments with separate buildings, as well as a library having a three-storied structure with a plinth area of 9000 sq.ft. that is packed with a vast range of national and international newspapers, periodicals and research journals. All the library’s activities have been computerised, including the issue and return of books, searching the OPAC (Open Access Catalogue), and cataloging, classification and barcode of books. Furthermore, the library subscribes to the INFLIBNET, DELNET and EBSCO online databases. In addition to the main building, AVCASC Hyderabad has separate buildings for the Life Sciences, Arts and Commerce departments, as well as a Postgraduate Block.
There are spacious classrooms, AV Room, an Auditorium, and Playground to play basketball. There are also a number of well-equipped laboratories such as the Botany Lab, Commerce Lab, Computer Science Lab, Zoology Lab, etc, all of which are essential for students’ learning and development.
