The Ravi Rishi Educational Society founded Aurora's Scientific Technological and Research Academy, Hyderabad (ASTRA Hyderabad) in 2000. ASTRA Hyderabad boasts a spacious campus of 25 acres, making it the largest of its kind in Hyderabad. ASTRA Hyderabad is conveniently located in Bandlaguda, Chandrayangutta, with easy access from any corner of the city within a 20-minute drive. ASTRA Hyderabad is both AICTE-approved and affiliated with JNTUH. ASTRA Hyderabad's primary objective is to excel in academics and provide leading-edge knowledge to its students while encouraging staff to engage in research and development activities.

The campus is spread over 25 acres, which is the largest campus within the limits of the Hyderabad corporation. ASTRA Hyderabad has ample classrooms and laboratories which are equipped with the necessary resources to cater to academic activities. Each department has its own computing resources and departmental library. ASTRA Hyderabad also has a well-equipped language lab with an LCD projector. In addition, tutorial classrooms are available in each department to address students' personal doubts and queries. The library at ASTRA Hyderabad has an extensive collection of resources with 6,424 titles and 44935 volumes, covering various disciplines. The library is also equipped with an E-Library that has 102 periodicals. ASTRA Hyderabad has ample sports amenities with separate playgrounds for games like cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball. The campus also provides facilities for field events like Javelin Throw, Shot-put, Hammer Throw, Discus Throw, Jumps, etc. Additionally, indoor sports facilities are available such as table tennis, caroms, and chess. ASTRA Hyderabad also has a yoga room and a well-equipped gymnasium with the latest fitness equipment. To ensure students' convenience, ASTRA Hyderabad also offers buses and canteen facilities within the campus. Hostel facilities are available for students who wish to reside on campus. The auditorium has a seating capacity of 600, making it ideal for hosting events and gatherings. Lastly, ASTRA Hyderabad also provides differently abled facilities to support students with disabilities.

Admission Procedure
Aurora's Scientific Technological and Research Academy, Hyderabad offers BTech, MTech and MBA degrees. ASTRA Hyderabad follows an online admission procedure and the form can be obtained from the college's website.
For BTech admission, candidates must pass HSC(10+2) from any board. The final admission will be done on the basis of the score obtained in Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET).
For PG admission, candidates must complete a bachelor's degree. The final admission for Mtech will be done on the basis of the score obtained in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance (TS PGECET)/Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), and for MBA Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) score will be used.
