AU College of Engineering (AUCE), Vishakhapatnam was established in 1955 on the sprawling 160-acre North Campus of Andhra University, of which it is a constituent college.
Recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), AUCE Vishakhapatnam offers 16 undergraduate (UG) and 39 postgraduate (PG) courses for students to pursue. The UG courses offer degrees of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch); while the PG courses offer Master of Engineering (M.E), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Planning (M.Planning), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), and Master of Science (M.S). Admission to AUCE Vishakhapatnam takes place online.

Admission Procedure
AU College of Engineering, Vishakhapatnam follows an online method of admission. Applicants to AUCE Vishakhapattanam are selected based on their merit and elgibility criteria. AUCE Vishakhapattanam offers Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses under the faculty of Engineering. Aspiring B.Tech and BE (Undergraduate) applicants to AUCE Vishakhapattanam must have passed Higher Secondary Examination from any recognized board with respective Science subjects according to the concerned department. Aspiring Post Graduate applicants to AUCE Vishakhapattanam, must have secured Bachelors Degree from any recognized university with respective subjects according to the concerned department. Selected applicants are called in for final interview by the faculty members of the college for their final selection.
