Atria Institute of Technology, Bangalore (AIT Bangalore) is a self-funded educational institute run by the AS Kupparaju and Brothers Charitable Trust (ASKB). AIT Bangalore was founded in 2000 under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The well-designed infrastructure of AIT Bangalore has 57 class/tutorial rooms totaling about 4026 square meters. There are 45 laboratories totaling about 6800 square meters, each with the hardware and software required for the departments to operate well. The Library and Information Center opened its doors in 2000 and already has a 2000-volume book collection. AIT Bangalore now boasts a library of more than 34,775 books. AIT Bangalore has three boardrooms with all required amenities as well as a seminar room with a capacity for 150 people. To help students become more professional and develop their communication abilities, a language lab with the newest software has been put up. Sessions can be recorded in a sound-proof studio equipped with video cameras, microphones, and LED studio lighting.
AIT Bangalore has a separate Training and Placement Cell that is run by a Placement Officer with assistance from members who are in their last year of study. Through career counseling, AIT Bangalore aims to help students improve their skills in a way that is suited to the needs of the corporate sector.
