Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior (ABVIIITM, Gwalior), was established in 1997 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), ABVIIITM, Gwalior offers undergraduate (UG), integrated, postgraduate (PG), and doctorates (Ph.D) courses for students to pursue. The UG course offers the degree of Bachelor of Technology, while the integrated, as well as PG courses, offer Master of Technology and Master of Business Administration. Admission to ABVIIITM, Gwalior takes place online.

Admission Procedure
Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior follows an online method of admission. Applicants to ABVIIITM, Gwalior are selected based on merit and eligibility criteria. ABVIIITM, Gwalior offers Undergraduate, Integrated, Post Graduate, and Doctorate courses under the faculty of engineering and management. Aspiring B.Tech (Undergraduate) applicants must have passed Higher Secondary Examination from any recognized board with respective subjects according to the concerned department. Aspiring applicants in the Integrated course for 5 years must have passed Higher Secondary Examination from any recognized board with respective subjects according to the concerned department. Aspiring Undergraduate applicants and Integrated applicants to ABVIIITM, Gwalior must appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (Mains) and selection is based on the marks or ranks secured by the students in the entrance examination.
Aspiring Post Graduate applicants (M.Tech) applicants must have secured a bachelor's degree from any recognized board with respective subjects according to the concerned department. Aspiring Postgraduate applicants must appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and selection is based on the marks or ranks secured by the students in the entrance examination. Aspiring Doctorate applicants (Ph.D) must have secured Master's Degree from any recognized board with respective subjects according to the concerned department. Aspiring Ph.D applicants must appear for a personal interview and selection is based on the same.
