Admission Procedure
Assam Women's University, Jorhat follows an online admission procedure and candidates can apply for the course of their choice through the admission portal on the official website. AWU Jorhat offers a range of undergraduate, and postgraduate programs across various disciplines, including science, arts, allied health science, business administration, computer applications, fashion and tourism.
Undergraduate degrees offered at AWU Jorhat include B.A and BPT. Postgraduate degrees offered at AWU Jorhat include MBA, MLIS, MFT, MA, MTTM, and MCA. AWU Jorhat also offers a postgraduate diploma (PGD) in Computer applications.
For admission into BPT, candidates must have passed 10+2 level with minimum 50% in aggregate in
Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For Bachelor of Physiotherapy entrance exam, questions will be on Physics, Chemistry, Biology
and English from the 10+2 level syllabus.
For admission into B.A Psychology, candidates must acquire Minimum 50 % marks in aggregate at 10+2 level
in any discipline. Selection will be based on merit.
For admission into M.A, candidates must complete their graduation in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 45%.
For admission into MBA, candidates must obtain their Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with at least 50% marks.
For admission into MCA, candidates must complete their Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) or PGDCA or B.Sc. in Computer Science/Information Technology/ Electronics or Bachelor degree in any other discipline with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects. The candidate must have secured 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
For admission into MTTM, candidates must obtain their Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with at least 50% marks.
For admission into MLIS, candidates must obtain their Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks.
For admission into MFT, candidates must obtain their Bachelor’s Degree in B.Voc. or B.Sc. or BFTech with at least 45% marks.
