Admission to Assam Engineering College, Guwahati (AEC Guwahati) in Bachelor of Engineering [B.E] in eight fields mainly- Mechanical, Civil, Electronics and Telecommunications, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation, Computer Science & Engineering and Industrial & Production. It also provides a Master of Engineering [M.E] in Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering, and Master of Computer Applications [MCA] based on the scores obtained in the Assam CEE (Combined Entrance Examination). The eligibility criteria for admission to undergraduate programs require candidates to have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. The candidates must also fulfil the minimum age limit and physical fitness criteria.
