Assam Down Town University (ADTU), Guwahati was established in 2010 at Panikhaiti, Chandrapur by the down town Charity Trust. The multi-disciplinary University is the largest educational group in Assam and among the leading institutes in north-east India.
With the help of a dedicated faculty of renowned academicians and celebrated industry leaders, ADTU strives to imbibe the best of professional as well as academic discipline among its students.
The autonomous University is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), University Grants Commission (UGC), Indian Nursing Council (INC), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), and Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP).
ADTU offers a variety of courses at all levels, from certificate, diploma (DIP), undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), to doctorate (PhD). In addition to this, the University also offers postgraduate degrees in Emergency and Critical Care, Medical Laboratory Technology, Physiotherapy, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Healthcare Management, Applied Psychology, Sociology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Botany, Food Nutrition and Dietetics, Microbiology, Zoology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, and Nursing.

Admission Procedure
The admission procedure at Assam Down Town University, Guwahati is conducted online. The students (co-ed) who have passed 10+2 board examination from a recognised board or council in India have to register themselves in the portal of ADTU after which the relevant admission procedure is carried out for the courses under B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Pharm, BPT, BMLT, BOTT, B.Optm, BA, BBA, BSW along with Diploma courses.
