Admission Procedure
Asan Memorial College of Arts & Science Chennai (AMCAS Chennai) offers 10 Under Graduate courses (Arts, Science, and Commerce) and 4 Post Graduate Courses (Science, Management), and 2 Research programs (Science). The Medium of Instruction of all the courses is English. Courses approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
The selection of the candidates for the undergraduate degree course is made according to their merits secured by the students in their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board. The selection of the applicants for the Postgraduate courses is made according to the merits secured by the applicants in their undergraduate degree course in the relevant subject discipline from a recognized university.
A master's degree in a relevant field, with a minimum grade point average of 55%, is required for students interested in applying for admission to research courses. Candidates may submit an application for admission to an MBA program by taking one of the following entrance exams: Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), Common Admission Test (CAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), or any other MBA Entrance Tests that have been approved.
