ARM College of Engineering and Technology, Chennai (ARMCET Chennai) was established in 2008 and is currently affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. It is recognised by University Grants Commission [UGC] and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE].

ARM College of Engineering and Technology, Chennai offers Bachelor of Engineering [BE], Bachelor of Technology [B. Tech], Master of Engineering [ME], Master of Technology [M. Tech], and Master of Computer Application [MCA] degrees in engineering in its different branches e.g. Civil Engineering with Structural Engineering, Computer Scinece, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical Engineering, etc. The basic eligibility criteria are that the undergraduate applicants must complete their 10+2 level of education and postgraduate applicants should complete their Bachelor's degree. The applicants also need to qualify for the entrance exam preferences accepted by ARMCET Chennai and secure the desired percentile/ rank categorised by the institute. The qualifying entrance examinations are Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, Common Entrance Test [CET], and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering [GATE].
