APS College of Engineering, Bangalore (APSCE Bangalore), a self-financing professional college situated in Bengaluru, was established in 1997 by Acharya Pathasala Educational Trust (APSET). The founder President of APSET, a visionary educationist, identified the importance of academic growth in playing a decisive role in the country's future. APSCE Bangalore's objective is to offer high-quality education to rural students from nearby villages on Kanakapura Road, who cannot afford costly professional education. APSCE Bangalore is located on a 25-acre lush green campus, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in New Delhi and recognized by the Government of Karnataka. APSCE Bangalore is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi in Karnataka.

APSCE Bangalore boasts a lush green campus spread over 25 acres, which includes various sports facilities such as a 200-meter athletic track, cricket ground, football field, volleyball court, kho-kho court, and indoor spaces for table tennis, chess, badminton, and caroms. APSCE Bangalore possesses comfortable hostel accommodations for both boys and girls, with mess facilities that ensure students get healthy and hygienic food in a timely manner. APSCE Bangalore provides transportation facilities for the students to make commuting from outside the city easier, with buses, vans, and cars that pick up and drop students from various parts of the city.
The Training & Placement Cell at APSCE Bangalore maintains regular communication with industries throughout the year to offer placement opportunities to students. The T&P team works on building and maintaining relationships with industries, while also welcoming new recruiters for campus placements. In addition to organizing campus recruitment drives, students are also provided with opportunities for summer internships, industrial training programs, and apprenticeships. The training and placement cell also conducts campus recruitment training, aptitude training, assessment tests, interview preparation sessions, and mock GD/PI sessions. There are three ways to get into the first year of the B.E. programme at APSCE Bangalore- Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Entrance Exam (COMEDK), and Management Quota. For MTech admission, candidates must complete bachelor's degree from any university.
