The library subscribes to about 100 journals and technical magazines and receives daily newspapers. The library is continuously updating its collection, adding the latest engineering books regularly. The online journals subscribed to are DELNET E-Journal Package (275 no's with full text), IEEE-ASPP subscription mainly for circuit branches, and ASME subscription mainly for non-circuit branches.
The sports complex at AEC Poonamallee is an impressive facility that adheres to international standards. The sports complex boasts hi-tech volleyball, basketball, and throwball courts, three cricket nets with automatic wall dispensers, kabaddi, and athletic tracks. The management provides students with the necessary infrastructure facilities for outdoor and indoor games. AEC Poonamallee also has a gym that enables students to stay fit and healthy.
The seminar halls and "Sakunthalamma Auditorium" are two of AEC Poonamallee's most beautiful building features. AEC Poonamallee also provides a hostel with mess facilities, to ensure students have a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
