Admission Procedure
Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi offers a two-year Postgraduate Diploma in Management with a specialisation in Mass Communication, as well as a three-year Postgraduate Diploma in Management with specialisations in Television and Radio Journalism, Advertising and Marketing Communication, Corporate Communication & Event Management, Digital Media & Online Journalism, and Business & Financial Journalism.
For admission to its PGDM (Mass Communication) programme, AIMC New Delhi requires grades from the Common Admission Test (CAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), and AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA). Candidates who meet certain criteria (CAT/MAT scores, graduation scores, etc.) will be contacted for group discussions and personal interviews at the AIMC campus and maybe in other Indian cities.
Candidates for the one-year full-time postgraduate diploma who obtained a cumulative GPA of at least 60% in their undergraduate programme or in the first two years of their programme and the results are still pending will not be required to take the entrance exam and will only need to appear for an interview; those who received more than 60% will be considered for admission under the "Direct Admission" category.
