A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women, Thoothukudi (APCMCW Thoothukudi), was established in 1974 and is affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.
Recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), APCMCW Thoothukudi offers 9 undergraduate (UG), 6 postgraduate (PG), and 5 doctorate (PhD) courses for students to pursue. Admission Procedure
A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women, Thoothukudi offers B.A., B.Sc, B.Com., M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., and Ph.D. Admissions to APCMCW Thoothukudi are only accepted online (via Internet only) and is solely based on merit. Within ten days of the release of the exam results, the student must submit the applicationform. The provisional list of chosen candidates will be decided by the college selection committee. The candidates will receive an SMS or email confirming the date of the interview. The student should meet with the college principal along with their parents. They must bring the necessary original paperwork as well as a copy of the online application for admission. For UG admission at APCMCW Thoothukudi , candidates must pass HSC (10+2)/ equivalent from a relevant stream from any board. And, for PG admission candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject from any university.
