Annex College (Centre for Technical & Management Studies), Kolkata (ACCTMSK), was established in 1990 under the benevolent assistance of Mother Teresa and other renowned stalwarts with the idea of becoming a world class hub in providing internationally comparable Management and IT Education. Annex College is an undertaking of the Annex Convent College, and is also associated with the CII, ICC, PRSI, ASSOCHAM, BRICS, and other organisations.
ACCTMSK offers 11 undergraduate (UG), 7 postgraduate (PG), 13 integrated, 14 diploma (DIP), and 17 postgraduate diploma (PG DIP) courses for students to pursue. The UG courses offered are: Bachelor of Business Administration; Bachelor of Business Management; Bachelor of Computer Application; B.Sc in Information Technology and in Media Science; Bachelor of Hospital Administration; Bachelor of Hospital Management; Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management; Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication; Bachelor of Event Management; and Bachelor of Commerce. The DIP courses that can be pursued at ACCTMSK are in Food & Beverage; Travel and Tourism; Cabin Crew & Airport Ground Service; Education; Electrical Engineering; Fire & Safety; Food Production; Nursery Primary Teacher’s Training; Nursery Teacher’s Training; Surveying; Wedding Coordination; Animation and Film Making; Event Management; and Elementary Education. The Integrated Courses are: BBA+MBA; BBA+PGDM; BBA+PGDITM; B.Com+MBA; B.Com+PGDM; B.Com+PGDITM; BCA+MCA; BCA+PGDITM; B.Sc+M.Sc in Information Technology and Computer Science; and BJMC+MJMC. The PG DIP courses offered are: Architecture & Interior Design; Computer Basics; Broadcast Journalism; Computer Application; Event Management; Element of Management; Fashion Design Business Management; Fire & Safety; Food & Beverage Production Management; Food & Beverage Service Management; Front Office Management; Hotel & Housekeeping Management; Hotel Management; Logistics and Supply Chain Management; Public Health; Travel and Tourism; and Journalism and Mass Communication.
ACCTMSK is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), and is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). Students need to qualify the 10+2 level examination from a recognised board in order to be qualified for the UG, DIP and integrated courses at ACCTMSK; and for PG admission, candidates need an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject. The highly qualified faculty at ACCTMSK works tirelessly to impart quality education to the pupils.
