Admission Procedure
Annamalai University, Annamalainagar conducts its admission procedure by the admission guidelines of the rules and regulations of the Tamil Nadu State Government and the University Grants Commission (UGC). Students who are interested in seeking admission to the university can apply through the university's official website. The admission for the undergraduate courses is made according to the merits secured by the applicant in the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board along with the merits secured through the various subject-specific entrance examinations and the counceeling procedure. The admissions for the postgraduate degree courses are made by the merits secured by the students in their undergraduate degree courses from a recognized university along with the merits secured by the students in Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET). The selection of the applicants for the doctoral degree courses is made according to the merits secured by the applicant in their postgraduate degree courses along with the proposal for research
