Amongst Several colleges, notably Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Hyderabad (AITS Hyderabad) were established by the Annamacharya Educational Trust, which was established in 1997 by a group of highly educated and civic-minded people. The trust was established with the benevolent aim of providing students from Rayalaseema's underdeveloped rural communities access to higher education and professional training. "VidhvanSarvatraPujyathe" is the motto of AITS Hyderabad the meaning of which is "a scholar is recognised across the world" and it is a portion of a Sanskrit shloka authored by Chanakya. The Annamacharya Educational Trust has its corporate headquarters in Hyderabad under Registration Number 135/IV/97. Later on, this Educational Trust founded colleges at Tirupati, Chittor District, Piglipur, and Rajampet, Kadapa District. The Trust wants to establish additional technical and non-technical institutions in A.P. as part of its ongoing expansion. The foundation of AITS Hyderabad is solely grounded in its noble mission of influencing and enriching the intellectual possession in Engineering field through advanced research and development programmes.
A range of Engineering programs at undergraduate postgraduate levels across various specializations including civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electronic and communication and more are offered at AITS Hyderabad followed by also some diploma courses. The diploma courses are offered by TS State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad. The courses and curriculums at AITS Hyderabad are uniquely blended to shape eminent professionals of the respective fields.

Admission Procedure
The admission procedure at Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Hyderabad (AITS Hyderabad) follows an online method where the candidates are to follow several guidelines. The minimum qualification is graduation in any stream from any recognized college or university. Candidates must have secured 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
Candidates must qualify Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) for undergraduate programmes, Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) for MBA programme, Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) for M.Tech, and Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET) for Diploma courses.
