Students need to qualify the Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination (TNPCEE) or Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate technical courses, and Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) for admission to the management courses at AMSEC Namakkal. Passing in 10+2 level examination from science stream is also required for a candidate to be eligible for admission to undergraduate engineering courses at AMSEC Namakkal.
