Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering, Vijayawada (ALIET Vijaywada) is a sister college of Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada (ALC, Vijaywada) established in 2008 by Rev. Fr. Peter. Hans Kolvenbach. Since then ALIET Vijaywada has been helmed and managed by the Society of Jesus or Jesuits' Society.
ALIET Vijaywada is accredited by the Government of Andhra Pradesh while being affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada the courses offered at ALIET Vijaywada are approved by AICTE.
There are several programs conducted by ALIET Vijaywada 3 PG courses, 5 UG courses across various disciplines of Engineering and Technology.
ALIET Vijaywada is residing inside the 98 acre campus of Loyola College Society. There campus of ALIET Vijaywada is at a serene green environment at the foothills of Easter Ghats of Vijaywada.
125 dedicated faculties driven from all over the country chosen with respect to their high qualification and efficiency serve the exemplary pedagogy and raise eminent professionals in the respective fields. The Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation established an exclusive training center in collaboration with Siemens at ALIET Vijaywada to train students where more than 3000 students have been trained. Apart from this, a 3D laboratory offering extra ordinary infrastructure and an excellence center is there that runs with the motto of service and excellence.
ALIET Vijaywada is adhering towards the principles of compassion, social responsibility and innovation and strives to inculcate them into its disciples alongside developing entrepreneurial skills and leadership qualities within them.

Admission Procedure
The admission procedure is conducted Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering, Vijayawadaas per the norms of AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) where 70% students of UG and PG programmes are admitted through centralized admissions organized by Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (APEAMCET) for UG. The remaining 30% students of Management/ NRI are admitted by the institution. Advertisement is given by the institution in popular regional newspapers calling for applications for B-category seats. Merit list is prepared from the applications received, placed in the notice boards. 20% of the seats for lateral entry admissions for diploma holders into second year are made by the convener, AP E-CET.

There are 125 faculties across all the departments at Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering, Vijayawada who are chosen from all over the world and are highly qualified, experienced and skills who guide and supervise the entire process of teaching and learning.
Placements
The Training and Placement Cell located at Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering, Vijayawada centrally tackles campus placement of graduating students AILET Vijaywada. It functions emphasizing on long term career exploration, self assessment, job research strategies etc. The team of AILET Vijaywada placement cell tries to bridge the gap between the academy and the industry to ensure well built connection to organize recruitment drives. Besides guiding the recruitment drives the cell of AILET Vijaywada also hosts pre-placement talks, entrepreneurship development programs, group discussions, and interviews.
