Anand Institute of Higher Technology, Chennai (AIHT Chennai), founded by Kalvi Vallal Thiru T. Kalasalingam, B. Com., is the result of his vision and initiative. As an excellent educator and philanthropist, he has been working full-time to improve a lot of students in the field of higher technical education. In June 2000, AIHT Chennai was founded. AIHT Chennai is one of many operated by the Kalasalingam and Anandam Ammal Charities, which have a history of effectively managing professional institutions for over 35 years. AIHT Chennai is situated near Kalasalingam Nagar, the IT Corridor, Rajiv Gandhi Salai (OMR), and 15 kilometers from Chennai City on a vast 25-acre space. AIHT Chennai is endorsed by the AICTE in New Delhi and affiliated with Anna University in Chennai.

This division is led by the Head-Training & Placement and is backed by Assistant Placement Officers, Faculty Placement Coordinators, and Student Coordinators from various departments of the organization. TPD creates positive working relationships with the CEOs and HR managers of the main IT and Core sectors. TPD is extremely important for counseling and advising students at different points in their academic programs of study as well as providing information on the various aspects of personality development. The students of AIHT Chennai get placed in companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Hexaware, EY, Apollo, etc. AIHT Chennai provides scholarships to meritorious and deserving poor students.
