All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), located in Raebareli, was established in 2013. The institution aims at disseminating high standards of education, research and training in the field of medical sciences. The autonomous university is approved by both the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the University Grants Commission (UGC).
The AIIMS Raebareli’s faculty are well-trained, experienced and dedicated to providing high-class and quality education to the students. Guest lecturers are also invited to enhance the learning experience for students. The Government institute offers a 5.5-year MBBS course for students.
Admission to AIIMS Raebareli is conducted online. Students must have passed their 10+2 school leaving test from a recognised board of secondary education. Candidates willing to get admitted for MBBS have to qualify for the NEET Examination. The admission process is based on the merit of candidates. Students are provided with internships during the tenure of their degree programs. They also get recruited within and outside of the state.

Admission Procedure
To apply for admission to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raebareli, candidates have to appear for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). All the nine AIIMS institutions across India - in New Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, Guntur, Raipur, Nagpur, and Bhubaneswar - offer admission through this exam.
AIIMS Raebareli provides Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degrees and admissions are carried on through NEET and All India Institute of Medical Sciences Exam (AIIMS Exam) respectively. For postgraduate degrees Doctorate of Medicine (DM), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch) and Master of Surgery (MS), the admissions are based on scores obtained in the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) and Institute of National Importance Super Speciality Entrance Test (INI SS).
