All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur was established in the year 2012 with an ambition to provide quality medical knowledge and education to aspiring medicos.
The faculty at AIIMS, Jodhpur are extremely experienced and educated in providing detailed knowledge, bringing out the best in students and guiding them to make their future bright. Both the teaching and non-teaching staff are professional, cooperative and helpful to students.
AIIMS, Jodhpur is an autonomous institute which is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Medical Commission (NMC). The undergraduate courses offered by AIIMS include MBBS and Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The admission procedure at AIIMS, Jodhpur is conducted online. To be eligible for admission, candidates are required to qualify for National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) and those who seek admission in Nursing at AIIMS must appear for the Paramedical Examination conducted by the institute.
The Training and Placement Cell at AIIMS, Jodhpur provides excellent facilities to students to make them prepare for real-world challenges. From mock interviews and group discussions to hospital work environment exposure, the cell covers it all. Internships are provided to students who are in their final year. Besides theoretical knowledge, students are given practical exposure as well. They get recruited in several schools, colleges, hospitals and institutes in and out of the state.
AIIMS, Jodhpur have all the academic facilities that students require including a traditional and digital library with 2500 medical books, 500 books on nursing and 243 online e-journals, reference materials covering a wide variety of subjects, and fully furnished laboratories with the latest technology to enhance the research and academic learnings, spacious classrooms consisting of smartboards, projectors, speakers, microphones and air-conditioner, an expansive auditorium with latest audio-visual devices and in-campus high-speed internet.
Besides this, there’s a cafeteria that serves healthy food at a pocket-friendly price, hostels separate for boys and girls, medical services and a sports complex with 1 football ground, 1 cricket field, 1 tennis court and 1 badminton court and students are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities, and their physical fitness and health are taken into consideration.

Admission Procedure
To apply for admission to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur, candidates have to appear for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). All the nine AIIMS institutions across India - in New Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, Guntur, Raipur, Nagpur, and Bhubaneswar - offer admission through this exam.
AIIMS Jodhpur also offers Post-Graduate (MS/MD), M.sc in Nursing,( DM/ M.Ch )with various speacliazation.
(MS/MD) Candidate must have an overall graduation (MBBS degree) grade point average of 55% and complete an internship in a facility or programme recognised by the Medical Council of India. Also, the applicant must pass either the National Eligibility Entrance Exam or the AIIMS admission test. Admission is based on a minimum 50% score on the Institution of National Importance Combined Entrance Exam. (DM/ M.CH) degree programmes candidate must qualify for the Institute of National Importance Super speciality Entrance Test ( ISI-SS).
Faculty
All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur's faculty, both teaching and non-teaching, are a dedicated group of individuals who strive to deliver the best services possible. Multiple prizes have been given to experienced teaching faculty members. Faculty members serve on a variety of boards and are frequently requested to speak as guest lecturers. Guest lecturers are also invited by the faculty to enrich the teaching and learning experiences. Students who are new to AIIMS, Jodhpur's professional programmes (MBBS, B.Sc. Nursing) have the opportunity to be supervised by a faculty member.
Placements
Students are assisted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur's placement cell, which provides interview preparation and internships. Students benefit from the institution's assistance by gaining practical experience, as well as enhancing their knowledge and broadening their opportunities. A multitude of schools, both within and outside the state, recruit students.
