Regarded as one of the top medical colleges in India, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bathinda offers comprehensive facilities and courses to its students. All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bathinda faculty consists of established and competent practicing doctors who are committed to providing individual attention to every student. AIIMS Bathinda conducts online admissions. To apply the students must clear the NEET-UG examination and appear for the MCC counselling with a good all India ranking. While the cutoffs and eligibility differ from year to year, passing ones 10+2 exams are mandatory. AIIMS Bhatinda also offers merit cum need based scholarship provided by the Smt. Maya Devi and Shri Kirpa Ram Kohli Educational Trust’s scholarship/ financial aid opportunities for needy students.

While there is no placement cell on campus, graduates from the institute are successful in finding positions at prominent medical facilities around the country. AIIMS Bathinda is both an institute as well as a medical centre. It has an OPD facilitated by the Government of India, open to patients. The OPD provides both invaluable hands-on training as well as medical attention in need to students and faculty. The students also have access to fully furnished and clean laboratories, as well as separate living facilities at the boys and girls hostels.

Admission Procedure

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bathinda’s admissions are conducted online. To apply for their undergraduate degrees, candidates must meet the basic eligibility requirements of applying for the NEET-UG examination and appear for the MCC counselling with a Goodall-Indiana ranking. While the admission criteria and eligibility differ from course to course, all students must have passed their 10+2 (with 50% aggregate) school leaving test from a recognised board of secondary education with science subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotech, and English, as well as individual exams in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotech, and English. For all the undergraduate programmes, admission will be based on the all-India ranking secured by the candidate in NEET-UG and the AIIMS B.Sc Nursing Entrance exam.

AIIMS Bathinda also offers Post-Graduate (MD/MS) programmes in various specializations, interested candidates can apply online official website. For applying their postgraduate degree candidate must complete graduation (MBBS degree )overall 55% with internship from a  recognised by the Medical Council of India or institute. And the candidate must qualify entrance exam taken by AIIMS or National Eligibility Entrance Test.
