In 2007, the people of Alipurduar finally saw their wish for a dedicated college for girls come to fruition with the establishment of Alipurduar Mahila Mahavidyalaya, New Town (AMM). AMM has received affiliation from the University of North Bengal and approval from the UGC making it a credible body of higher education. AMM aims to provide a supportive and encouraging platform that will facilitate a journey toward educational excellence for its students. AMM offers BA and BBA degrees. AMM follows an online admission procedure and the form can be obtained from the college's website. For UG admission, candidates must pass HSC(10+2) from any board.
