Dr. RM. Alagappa Chettiar, a renowned philanthropist, founded a Training College in Karaikudi on July 7, 1950. The college was later enrolled as Alagappa University College of Education, Karaikudi (AUCE Karaikudi), and is now a constituent college of Alagappa University. With the relentless efforts of its teaching and learning communities, AUCE Karaikudi boasts a cent percent success rate. Its mission and vision are to deliver high-quality education and to empower students to achieve excellence in all aspects of life.
