The college campus of Alagappa Government Arts College, Karaikudi provides multiple spacious classrooms with an adequate number of seats for the students with a suitable calm atmosphere that enhances their learning experiences. For the sake of practicals, there are labs allotted to each of the specific departments.
The campus library houses 86,729 books, including some rare collections. The collection includes important first editions of classical authors and world-renowned authors, as well as textbooks, journals, magazines, reference books, encyclopedias (general and specific), and so on. 3764 new books purchased with government funds have been added to the collections.
Provisional for sports there are multiple courtyards allotted for games. There is one football field, two cricket grounds, one hockey ground, one badminton court, one basketball, and one volleyball court. Students having a quest for fitness can avail the gymnasium owned by the college equipped with up-to-date apparatus. There is also one table tennis court for indoor games practice.
There is one hygienic canteen which serves quality food for the students, faculties, and staff. There are also seminar halls to host events, conferences, and conclaves.
