Al Shifa College of Pharmacy (ASCP), Malappuram was established in 2002 and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
Affiliated to the Kerala University for Health Sciences (KUHS), ASCP Malappuram offers 1 undergraduate (UG), 1 diploma (DIP), 5 postgraduate (PG), and 3 doctorate courses for students to pursue. The UG course offers the degree of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), the PG course offers Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm), and the doctorate courses Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D), Post Baccalaureate Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D (PB)), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Regular classes at ASCP Malappuram take place in spacious projector-equipped classrooms, while practical sessions are conducted in course-specific specialised laboratories. Students can benefit from collaboration with the Al Shifa Hospital, Perinthalmanna, for full-fledged pharmacy practice and conducting clinical toxicology studies and population-based disease-oriented studies. The Campus of ASCP Malappuram also has a cafeteria, a medical centre and well-equipped air-conditioned seminar halls for the students and staff to avail.

Admission Procedure
The factors that determine the respective weightages in admission of Al Shifa College of Pharmacy, Malappuram include the admission test, qualifying exam scores, etc. The first criterion is performance on the admission test, and the second criterion is performance on the qualifying exam. The minimal requirement for admission is 50% on the qualifying exams in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics. The last three years' cut-off levels for percentage and percentile scores on the entrance test have been 40% marks.
Faculty
