Its primary focus is to empower students with hands-on skills as practitioners and the ability to think both critically and creatively. The classrooms at AJKMCRC New Delhi are spacious and furnished with modern technology to provide students with a comfortable learning environment. AJKMCRC New Delhi also has a community radio station that provides students with practical experience in the field of media. AJKMCRC New Delhi has two fully equipped HDTV studios for multi-camera productions and one studio for SD production with the virtual set. Additionally, AJKMCRC New Delhi also provides access to the Multimedia Lab, which has 50 workstations loaded with software such as Quark Express, Final Cut Pro, ProTools, Photoshop, and Corel Draw. There are dedicated and fully-equipped media laboratories for students of Animation, Photography, and Broadcast Technology. For research purposes, AJKMCRC New Delhi runs a Media Library, which has an extensive collection of books, journals, films, DVDs, video and audio cassettes along with an archive of stock shots and press clippings. The James Beveridge Media Resource Centre (JB MRC) is devoted to archiving, research, and theoretical studies with a special focus on Documentary Films and Asian Cinema. They house a comprehensive collection of fiction, non-fiction, and experimental films, journals, books, monographs, and catalogs. AJKMCRC New Delhi also has a separate canteen for students of the center, providing them with refreshments and meals.
