AJ Institute of Management, Mangalore (AJIM Mangalore) was established in 1999 and is functioning under Laxmi Memorial Education Trust. It is affiliated with Mangalore University, recognised by the Government of Karnataka, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE].

The students of AJIM Mangalore is encouraged to be involved in several student cells and Clubs to delve into their co-curricular interest.

The goal of AJIM Mangalore is to inspire the youth who shall proliferate in to Managers, Administrators, Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs through its two-year postgraduate program in management as Master of Business Administration [MBA] in specialised subjects: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Hospital Administration, etc.

AJIM Mangalore campus has all the facilities that aim to uplift the students learning and overall development while pursuing their degrees. The classrooms are equipped with technologically aided methods of learning. It is a fully Wi-fi enabled smart campus, which provides exclusive online information services through its digital subscriptions to online academic journals, papers, magazines, etc along with the extremely well-resourced physical library containing printed references. The auditorium, seminar, and conference halls are all air-conditioned zones. It has a remarkable Computer lab services. The PCs of computer lab are installed with the latest technological configurations.
