AISSMS College of Pharmacy (AISSMSCOP), Pune was established in 1996 under the aegis of the All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society.
Recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), AISSMSCOP Pune is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Students can pursue the undergraduate (UG) course of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) at AISSMSCOP Pune. Admissions to AISSMSCOP Pune are based on the student’s merit in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test and National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test.

Admission Procedure
Admissions of AISSMS College of Pharmacy, Pune are conducted strictly in accordance with the laws and guidelines established by the Maharashtra government. The State Common Entrance Test Cell in Mumbai establishes the regulations for B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy admission. The Regulation of Admission and Fees Act, 2015 (Mah. xxviii of 2015) of the Government of Maharashtra specifies the qualifying requirements. Students can use the State Common Entrance Test Cell's official website for information on the admissions process. Direct admission to the second year of the B. Pharm. programme is also available to diploma holders through the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai's centralised admission process.
Faculty
The foundation of AISSMS College of Pharmacy, Pune is a knowledgeable faculty that values its students. Many of them have presented the results of their scientific work at national and international conferences. They have collectively written five text/reference volumes and more than 500 research articles. AISSMSCOP Pune also invites guest academics from business and the medical field to speak to students in addition to the normal seminars, workshops, and allied academic calendar. To familiarise students with the industrial setting, regular student trips to pharmaceutical businesses are organised.
Placements
The students of AISSMS College of Pharmacy, Pune must complete a 4-week industry training programme to help them build on the confidence they have developed during their studies in classrooms and labs. The Students Training and Placement unit is in charge of organising this event. This division is in charge of coordinating campus interviews with businesses to help our graduating and postgraduating students find appropriate employment. The graduates have been employed successfully by organisations like Sanofi, Crest Premedia, Cipla Ltd., Ranbaxy Ltd., Devas; Glaxo Smith Kline Beecham, Mumbai; Sun Pharma, Mumbai; Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Pune; Serum Institute of India, Pune, etc.
