Adaikalamatha Institute of Management, Vallam [AIM Vallam] was established in the year 1994 and is affiliated with Bharathidasan University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The students of AIM Vallam are encouraged to pursue their extracurricular interests through various students clubs categorised into different themes that are wholeheartedly supported by the institute’s end. At AIM Vallam a comprehensive infrastructure that caters to students' academic and personal needs has all well-structure amenities to support a substantive student life inside the campus. The computer lab is of special attraction, with licensed software and LAN connection. The classrooms and Business hall are facilitated with well-suited technological support, which intensifies the learning process even more. It has both traditional and digital libraries with an ample collection of reference materials in printed and online formats. Two separate boys’ and girls’ hostels occupy a larger section of the campus premises. AIM Vallam offers courses in the discipline of management with degrees as Management and Business Administration [MBA], Master of Philosophy [M. Phil], and Doctorate of Philosophy [PhD]. The faculty community is exquisitely learned and efficient in teaching their field of courses. The ingeniously qualified faculty of AIM Vallam in each specialised section ensure to garner students with modern tool usage tactics and most prominently management ethics with rigorous professional entities. The faculty have always taken their pedagogic initiative beyond academics and emphasises students with other cultural activities to acquire social knowledge with a vision to enrich and enlarge critical viewpoint and make them akin to trigger their problem-solving instincts. The placement situation of AIM Vallam is coordinated by the Training and Placement officer of the Placement Cell. Admission Procedure

Adaikalamatha Institute of Management, Vallam conducts its admission procedure according to the guidelines of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Bharathidasan University. The students interested in seeking admission at the esteemed College can apply through the university's admission department. The selection of the applicants for the postgraduate degree courses (MBA, M.Phill) in Master in Business Administration (MBA) is made according to the merits secured by the applicants in their undergraduate courses in the relevant subject discipline from a recognised university. For the doctoral degree courses (PH.D) in Management, the selection of the applicants is made according to the merits secured by the applicants in the postgraduate degree course or MPhil degree course in the relevant subject discipline from a recognised university.

Placements

Adaikalamatha Institute of Management, Vallam has a well-functioning Placement Cell is headed by a full time Placement & Training Officer with adequate academic and industrial experience. One faculty co-coordinator and two student representatives from the final MBA students assist the Placement & Training Officer. AIM, Vallam placement season of the Institute starts right from the beginning of the fourth semester (i.e.) from the month of January onwards. The Institute has got excellent facilities for conducting Campus Recruitments. A new career guidance service is being now offered to our students through our Excel Club. Under this service workshops are conducted on a regular basis on career guidance, Resume guidance and Interview guidance. Some of their top recuiter are HDFC Standard Life, Cap Gemini, HDFC Bank, TATA Motors, CAAD, Eureka Forbes etc.
