Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University, Guntur (ANGRAU Guntur) was established on June 12, as Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (APAU). On November 7, 1996, it was renamed as Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University in honour of Kisan Leader Acharya N. G. Ranga. With reincarnated devotion and dedication, the ANGRAU Guntur is currently serving the students and farmers of 13 districts in the new state of Andhra Pradesh.
ANGRAU Guntur started paving its way with the objective of becoming a premier institution inheriting eminence and excellence in the field of education across numerous specialization in Agricultural Science that results in sustainable development and raises eminent personnel. By imparting quality education and knowledge and sustaining equilibrium in the pedagogy of ANGRAU Guntur has ensured exemplary growth and has become a priority in Agricultural Education.
Under the status of autonomy, ANGRAU Guntur serves multiple postgraduate and research programs across numerous specializations in home science, food science and agricultural sciences. The admission is conducted in an online mode based on merit and eligibility criteria.
The faculties strive hard to rear the valuable mission of the institution of raising educational professionals through value-based learning through a pleasurable pedagogy. The teachers take continuous theoretical and practical assessments in order to ensure the correct evaluation of each of the students.

Admission Procedure
Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University, Guntur, offers students online admission to postgraduate programmes like as M.Sc, MBA, M.Tech, and Ph.D. Students are accepted into post-graduate programmes based on their performance on the ICAR test administered by that organisation, and into the Ph.D. programme based on the ICAR entrance exam and interview. Students must hold a bachelor's degree with the required marks in order to apply for postgraduate courses, and a master's degree with the required marks in order to apply for doctorate studies.
