Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur was established in 1976 in Andhra Pradesh, and presently has over 450 colleges affiliated to it.
Recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), ANU Guntur offers 58 postgraduate (PG) courses for the degrees of Master of Arts (M.A), Master of Social Work (MSW), Master of Commerce (M.Com), Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM), Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed), Master of Education (M.Ed), Master of Library & Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc), and Master of Science (M.Sc) as well as 14 undergraduate courses like Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed), and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) along with 2 postgraduate diploma courses and 35 Ph.D courses.

Recognising the importance of an active lifestyle for students, ANU Guntur has provisions for various sports and games, as well as a well-equipped gymnasium, running tracks, and recreation rooms with yoga and meditation facilities. Regular classes at ANU Guntur take place in spacious smart classrooms, while practical sessions are conducted in course-specific specialised laboratories. The fully Wi-Fi-enabled Campus of ANU Guntur also has a cafeteria, a medical centre, an auditorium and seminar halls, an amphitheatre, an ATM, and shuttle services for the scholars to avail.

Admission Procedure
Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur provides an online admission procedure for students to apply for any undergraduate, postgraduate, postgraduate diploma, or doctoral courses. The students are requested to follow the guidelines made by the institute.
Undergraduate courses like B.Arch, BFA, B.Pharm, B.P.Ed, and B.Tech degrees with multiple specializations are offered applying to which the students are required to have qualifying marks in their 10+2 examination from a recognized board.
The students are required to have a bachelor's degree with qualifying marks obtained from a recognized university for applying for postgraduate degrees such as MA, MBA, M.Com, MCA, M.Ed, MHRM, M.Lib.Sc., M.Pham, M.P.Ed, M.Sc, MSW, and M.Tech offered with various specializations.
The students are also provided with two Postgraduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling and Yoga for which they are required to have a bachelor's degree with qualifying marks obtained from a recognized university.
Doctoral courses under Ph.D degree are provided with various specializations applying to which the students are required to have qualifying marks in their master's degree obtained from a recognized university.
