Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College (AJCBC), Kolkata was established in 1968 as the Birla College of Science and Birla College of Education, which were integrated to form the Birla College of Science and Education in 1969. The College was finally renamed Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College in 1987.
